We raise funds and coordinate with school staff to provide enrichment opportunities to the Dallas Harris community. The PTO is funded from individual donations and special fundraising events. This year, the special fund-

raising events include: 

• Read-a-Thon (Fall)

• Penny Wars (Winter)

• Spring Fundraiser (Spring) 

We also coordinate Community Dine Out events where participating businesses give back a portion of the sales to the Dallas Harris PTO.  Look for more information on these events in future Yote Notes.

The easiest way to support our school is to donate directly to the PTO. Your donation will enable the PTO to fund: 

•  Teacher accounts for classroom supplies

•  Field trip transportation and admission fees

•  Art programming & supplies

•  Special programs, such as the Missoula Children’s Theater (more details coming soon)

•  Community events, such as STEM night or Spring Field Day

•  Staff Appreciation

•  Music, library, and counseling program support

•  Additional learning support for curriculum materials as needs arise

•  And much more!

How to Donate

We welcome donations of all sizes. And, your donation qualifies for the Idaho State Educational Tax Credit. We accept donations through the following payment options:

•  Credit or debit card payments are accepted via the Dallas Harris Elementary PTO donation page, which is administered by the Boise Public Schools Foundation. Please note there is a 3% credit card processing fee.

•  Check and money orders payable to Boise Public Schools Education Foundation - Dallas Harris PTO, along with donation form, mailed to: 8169 West Victory Road Boise, Idaho 83709 

•  Donor Advised Fund. Grants can be made to Boise Public Schools Foundation - Dallas Harris PTO. The tax ID is 82-0400689.

•  Corporate Matching Contributions. Donations from these companies qualify for educational matching contributions. An employee of one of these companies may obtain a matching gift form from their company’s contribution office and send it with their donation (and this donation form) to the Boise Public Schools Foundation – Dallas Harris PTO.
